5 Bells.
Historical notes :
- The 5 Thomas II Eayre bells at Lilbourne were the last to be cast at Kettering before the company became bankrupt. They form one of only two complete & original peals of Thomas II Eayre bells remaining in the U.K.
- The other 5 Thomas II Eayre bells, all dated 1761, are at Gretton, Northamptonshire.
Abbreviations :
- One Cwt. (hundredweight) = 4 quarters = 112 lbs.(pounds) = 50.8 kg.
- One quarter = 28 lbs. = 12.7 kg.
- H = Hastings type stay.
- C = Curved stay.
- J.D. > Brede = John Danyell successor ‘Brede’ (4th. bell at Old).
