Not the best of angles to properly display the bell. With permission, I need to be within the grounds of the Church. A much better image can be found on the Hollowell village site. Please click here for link.
St. James’ Church, Hollowell, is within the Uplands Benefice Group of Churches, but not affiliated to the Guild, however, on purely on historic grounds, I’ve included the location as according to records, the single turret bell was cast by C. and G. Mears in 1850. Coincidentally, the founders also re-cast the six bells at nearby Guilsborough in 1847.
