  • This tall landmark spire, which can be viewed for miles around today, was built c1860, replacing an earlier one from the 15th. century.
  • The source of the River Avon rises within the village of Naseby.
  • Two other river sources rise in the parish of Naseby.
    • a) The northern branch of the Nene, (Brampton arm) flowing eventually eastwards to The Wash.
    • b) The river Ise, which joins the Nene to the south of Wellingborough.

  • Notice for the taller ringers! “Mind your head ” through doorway to ringing area.
  • Good rope circle.
  • Rope guides.
  • 4th. and tenor bells deep-set at hand-stroke.
  • Moderately heavy-going bells but good tonal qualities.

Accessibility to Church.

  • From roadside  pavement, an uphill path leads to south porch.
  • Level through porch, then one shallow step up through entrance door to nave.
